This old pot had a square hole for the dowel stick. I simply cut a curved maple block, drilled it, and ran the hanger bolt through it. |
And here is the DEERING neck which I installed. Of course, I didn't want to leave Deering's well-respected name on a banjo which is nowhere NEAR his high standards, so I changed it to "RANGE". That way, when I allow a beginner to borrow it, I can tell the student that this is the famous RANGE LOANER! |
